01
What categories of accessories does Stealth offer and what does each cover?
Stealth accessories span four groups. AC Adapters and Power Supplies provide stable, protected power delivery matched to the specific voltage and wattage requirements of each Stealth system — critical in industrial environments where power quality variation is common. Mounting Brackets and Slide Rails cover DIN-rail brackets for Little PC cabinet mounting, VESA adapter plates, and 19-inch rack slide rails in 18-inch, 24-inch, and 30-inch travel lengths for Stealth SR-series rackmount systems. Cables cover standard and 4K KVM cables for rack KVM switch integration, M12-connector cables for the WPC-905 Panel PC providing sealed vibration-resistant connections for power, USB, LAN, COM, and DVI in harsh and mobile environments, and display adapter cables (DP-to-VGA, DP-to-HDMI, DP-to-DVI, HDMI-to-VGA) for bridging between system video outputs and monitor inputs. Parts and UPS includes APC Smart-UPS rackmount units and replacement components.
02
How do I select the correct power supply for my Stealth system?
Match three parameters: output voltage (12V or 19V DC depending on your Stealth model — verify against your product's power specification), output wattage (meet or exceed the system's maximum power draw with 20–30% headroom for thermal margin and inrush current on startup), and input voltage range (100–240V AC for standard facility power; for vehicle, battery, or solar deployments, confirm your Stealth system's DC input range). EU-type power cord variants are European outlet replacement cords for the same power supply unit — not different supplies. If uncertain, provide your system's model number to Stealth support and they will confirm the correct accessory before you order.
03
How do I choose the right slide rail length for my rack installation?
The correct length matches the front-to-rear mounting rail distance of your rack — not the overall cabinet depth. Measure between the center of the front mounting hole and the center of the rear mounting hole in the same rack unit row. Standard 19-inch EIA IT racks typically measure 24 inches (common for shallow network and industrial racks) or 30 inches (standard for full-depth server room racks) between mounting posts. Compact and wall-mount racks may use 18-inch spacing. The SLIDE-RAIL-GD-EXT-6 extension kit adds 6 inches for non-standard configurations. All Stealth slide rails are compatible with square-hole rack posts standard on EIA server racks — confirm post type for non-standard industrial enclosures before ordering.
04
Why should I deploy an APC UPS with my Stealth server infrastructure?
A UPS is the essential protection layer between an unexpected power event and data loss, hardware damage, process downtime, or safety-relevant system unavailability. Stealth offers APC Smart-UPS rackmount units in 1500VA (SMT1500RM2UC with network management; SMT1500RM2UNC without) and 3000VA (SMT3000RM2UNC) capacities. The 1500VA models protect a single Stealth server or small system cluster, providing minutes to tens of minutes for orderly shutdown or generator transfer. The 3000VA model covers larger loads or extended runtime requirements. For SCADA servers, historian databases, and any Stealth computing infrastructure where sudden power loss has operational or safety consequences, a properly sized UPS is standard practice — not an optional accessory.
